If you're like me a trans am firebird enthusiast you will know how rare this bird is. This 2nd generation trans am codes are rare and very desirable. Finding one in this show condition is a dream come true, with medals of proof of winning classic car shows.

Brief history, 81,032 trans ams' were built in 1978, but only 4139 were built with this spec and engine codes out of a fancy change and in the trans am world this is the very best year.

This is a very original car and its had a fortune spent on it.

FULL BEAR METAL RESPRAY to the highest standard done original  factory Martinique blue all the underneath is rust free all painted and correctly wax oiled. All the sills are like new, all the wheel arches and boot floor are perfect, Reconditioned gearbox done by the famous andy frost, rebuilt original quadrajet carburettor by the well known (autopontiac) and the carburettor still uses its  original hot air choke and it works perfect among some other original features on the car; are the foam insulation on the fuel feed pipe to the carburettor and it still has the original factory paint to the backing of the brakes discs. Fully reconditioned original radiator and original inlet manifold etc.

NEW PARTS fitted last year, new standard camshaft and lifters and timing chain and distributor, Hand made stainless steel exhaust with flow master boxes, it sounds awesome! new windscreen, new carpets and front wheel spats with original under spoiler, new honey cone alloys and BFG Goodrich tyres and bolts and centre bird caps. All new window strips, all new window and door and boot rubber seals, all new GAS SHOCKS, very smooth ride with the ltd slip diff etc. loads an loads of invoices.

The interior is black an polished aluiminum dash and is perfect, all the dash clocks etc work perfectly, it has the original radio but I prefer to listen to the engine. It has electric windows, power steering tinted windows etc.

This winter I am going to fit all new bushes and pinrods just to make this bird the best around, I am so proud of this car, it is amazing! and a great investment!

IF ANY ONE WANTS TO GET MARRIED IN STYLE LET ME NO ILL PUT THE RIBBONS ON HER
